Thank you to everyone who made the Info Vision Day at the Cardigan Centre such a success. Over 40 visitors enjoyed talks and stalls from RNIB Talk and Support, Torch Trust, Carers Leeds, NHS Niche Tobacco Project, RNIB Welfare Advice Team, Leeds Libraries, Leeds Vision Consortium and Touchstone.
Outside the venue, we also had Action for Blind People’s Sight Loss Information Service - a bus that’s kitted out with a lot of the latest gadgets designed to assist people with impaired vision.
One ABA member told me “There should be more days like this”.
